Continuous Improvement Team

As much fun as we had this summer with the FocusMaine Summer Intern Experience, we know that we can do more to improve the program to make it even better for summers to come! That is why we formed a Continuous Improvement team at the start of the summer to collect data from the interns and the companies.
The CI team was headed by Gimbala Sinkare of WEX this summer with roughly 8 interns. They sent out two major surveys to the 260 interns participating: one asked about the events offered by FocusMaine, another asked about their personal intern experiences at their respective companies. A third survey is set to go out to employers to gauge how they thought the summer went. All feedback will be reported to the FocusMaine Intern Experience Executive Team and taken into consideration while we plan next summer’s intern experience.
